Canada Life is looking for a Group Benefits Analyst who is bilingual in French and English to join their innovative team. The role involves analyzing data, making pricing decisions, and promoting financial recommendations to improve employee benefit plans. This position requires strong analytical skills and a commitment to continuous learning. Responsibilities Underwriting/Financial Analysts are responsible for analyzing data, identifying plan design and making basic pricing decisions to assist in driving new sales and renewing existing employee benefit plans. In this position you will: Actively promote financial recommendations regarding new business and renewal pricing Liaise with head office to underwrite new business Recommend plan design and product solutions to sales representatives through the analysis of client claiming patterns and within a financial advisors’ book of business Lead and design local sales tracking and reporting tools Skills Bilingualism (fluent in French and English) required, as the position will regularly serve our clients with English and French-speaking need Post-secondary education or related work experience Strong mathematical skills and financial aptitude Ability to show initiative and be self-motivated Dedication to continuous learning and self-development Other skills include: time management, communication, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Experience in the insurance, financial or wealth management industry Benefits Competitive income and benefits Opportunities for professional and personal development and growth Company Overview Canada Life looks after retirement, investments, Estate Planning, Wealth Management, Investing for Children, Flexible Life Plans.
