Graphic Designer Specialist for Christian Ministry

We are seeking a skilled graphic designer with experience in Christian ministries (churches or non-profits) and messaging to manage our web, print, and social media platforms. You should be comfortable working as an independent contractor and able to juggle your schedule to meet a deadline and prioritize needs given other work you may be doing outside of this work. When a request comes, you are able to pivot with other projects and complete the work within a reasonably effecient turnaround time to be able to meet the occasional timely requirements of weekly church services. The amount of hours is estimated to be approximately 4-5 hours per week and would be considered a retainer and an ongoing payment amount whether the hours were utilized or not so that this is always a guaranteed standard amount for you.

If the first 3 months go well, we may consider this to be an ongoing position.

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to create engaging content and communicate effectively with the existing ministry environment, but also be outreach focused to reach those who are outside. You don't need to be the person to post items, but be the person to make the deliverables and the traffic person will see to it that things are posted.

Having experience working with or having worked in a Christian ministry environment is vital to understanding the audience, their needs and the important aspect of spiritual content and how it relates to various ministries within a church.

You need to personally have a personal Christian witness that you can share.
