The Opportunity:
In support of a government agency and under direction from a Department of government, your primary focus will be to provide expertise and ongoing support in graphics development, creation, editing, and branding. This may include outreach activities to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences, including the public, with clarity, accuracy, and consistency. This role includes a cloud-based knowledge management system site development, e-library services, and the development of standardized practices for resource development.
Responsibilities:
Ā Research, analyze, coordinate, and prepare for distribution of a variety of material/information that supports the mission, activities, and initiatives of the government.
Ā Work with other organizational entities within the federal government on employee engagement activities
Ā Serve as a technical authority in custom graphic design work that includes but is not limited to: website management, social media, presentations, government reports, articles, fact sheets and posters, events, and video production.
Ā Ensure all internal and external documents adhere to a standardized compliance guideline, such as 508 Compliance.
Ā Plan, edit, design, and write content for a variety of internal communications media, such as a staff intranet, meeting presentations, regular newsletters, periodic email updates, and videos.
Ā Create and edit visual aids to support internal and external government communications.
Ā Perform comprehensive reviews and analyze work products to ensure that the objective, style, and branding of the presentation are aligned with the overall goals and target audience of the government.
Ā Standardize procedures to assure consistency with branding assets including but not limited to logos and brand marks, templates, color palettes, and brand guides across multiple forms of media.
Ā Collaborate with advisory groups to develop internal communications policies and procedures for senior-level approval.
Ā Support the development and execution an internal and external communications plans and strategies.
Qualifications:
Required:
Ā Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related fine arts discipline
Ā Minimum of two years experience
Ā Experience creating and designing projects and strategic communications using Adobe and Microsoft Suite products
Ā Must be able to obtain NACI (Public Trust) clearance/background investigation
Desired:
Ā Experience using Brand Guides
Ā Experience creating highly visible graphics for U.S. Government entities
Ā Experience interacting with senior-level employees and preparing detailed, accurate presentations for review by executive staff A current security clearance

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
