Graphic Designer Needed for Digital Marketing Assets & Brand System (Education Product)
We’re looking for a talented graphic designer to help us create digital marketing materials for News-O-Matic, a K–8 digital nonfiction news platform used in schools and libraries.
We already have strong print marketing materials in place (one-pagers, sales sheets, conference collateral) and need help translating that look and feel into high-quality digital assets.
Phase 1: Digital Marketing Assets
To start, we need designs such as:
Digital ad banners (multiple sizes)
Social media graphics
Email header and campaign visuals
Other digital assets as needed
Designs should feel clean, modern, and educator-friendly, while still being engaging and student-centered. You’ll be working from existing print materials to ensure visual consistency.
Phase 2: Brand Identity & Templates (Longer-Term)
This role may expand into a longer-term partnership to help us:
Build a more defined and cohesive brand identity
Create reusable Canva templates (social posts, ads, email graphics, one-pagers)
Develop brand guidelines (colors, fonts, imagery, layout rules) to support consistency across our team
What We’re Looking For
Experience designing digital marketing assets
Strong eye for visual consistency and branding
Ability to adapt existing designs into a scalable system
Experience creating Canva templates and brand guidelines is a plus
Education or mission-driven brand experience is a bonus
This project has the potential to grow into ongoing work as we continue to expand our digital marketing efforts.
