Graphic artist with strong technical skills to assist author - Contract to Hire
Local author in Fairfax, California is seeking a part-time assistant / collaborator with the following skills and qualities: 1. Highly developed graphic arts skills - create flyers, forms, business card, art designs, ads using Photoshop and InDesign 2. Must be a self-starter - who can follow instructions while suggesting design ideas and taking initiative when needed. 3. Strong left-brain technical computer skills - for help with troubleshooting technical issues, helping set up systems for computer files. 4. Strong work ethic - good communicator - reliable - able to get tasks completed on agreed-upon time frames 5. Available 15 - 20 hours per week 6. Prefer person with interest in spirituality and healing. You'll be exposed to a lot of high level inspiring media in this job. 7. Can help with book publishing tasks. Experience with this a plus. 8. We prefer someone from the San Francisco, California Bay area, although we will consider someone with the above qualifications farther away.
