• Manage grant application processes from initial concept through submission, ensuring compliance with all requirements.
• Maintain and update databases such as Raiser's Edge to track funding prospects, application statuses, and reporting deadlines.
• Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary data, develop budgets, and craft compelling narratives that highlight program impact.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, progress updates, and post-award documentation to ensure ongoing compliance and transparency.
• Edit and proofread proposals and reports for clarity, accuracy, and adherence to funder guidelines.
• Support strategic planning efforts by analyzing funding trends and recommending innovative approaches for program growth.
Requirements
• Proven experience in grant proposal writing within the healthcare or social services sectors, especially home health or hospice programs.
• Strong understanding of contracts, contract management, and compliance requirements related to healthcare funding.
• Proficiency with databases such as Raiser's Edge or similar CRM systems for fundraising management.
• Excellent research skills to identify potential funding sources and stay current on industry trends.
• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to craft clear, persuasive technical documents and proposals.
• Meticulous editing and proofreading abilities to ensure high-quality submissions.
