Find your future at Revvity We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Government Affairs & Communications Associate to support our public policy initiatives and strategic communications efforts. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of government relations, public policy, and corporate communications while contributing to Revvity's purpose to improve lives through science and technology.Key Responsibilities:Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments relevant to Revvity's business interestsConduct research on policy issues, industry trends, and competitive intelligence via trade, national and political mediaAssist with event planning and logistics for government affairs activitiesTrack pending coverage and doing a daily scan for Revvity mentions; update coverage tracker as neededSuggest articles for amplification and draft posts for the Newsroom and internal monitorsUpdate media list accordingly by adding suggested contacts and keeping other changes up to dateHelp update our list of awareness days/months, while recommending any potential awards, events and speaking opportunities for considerationDraft press releases and media pitches while pitching media directlySupport the team with administrative tasks and special projects as needed, such as the annual Impact Report, briefing documents, etc.What we Offer:Hands-on experience in corporate government affairs and communicationsExposure to complex policy issues in the life sciences and diagnostics industriesMentorship from experienced government affairs and communications professionalsInsight into how public policy impacts business strategy and operationsBuild skills in writing, strategic thinking, media relations, and with digital toolsGain experience into how media relations play a significant role in a company's success by shaping public perception, increasing visibility, and building credibilityBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in political science, Public Policy, Communications or Business1+ year of experience within government affairs, public policy, and corporate communicationsPreferred Qualifications:Strong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent research and analytical abilitiesDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prioritiesCompensation Range:The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $ 55,000-$60,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company.
