Job Summary

As a Customer Engineer, you will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their technical needs and develop solutions that meet their business objectives. You will provide AI expertise to help clients understand and leverage Google Cloud solutions, including product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and collaboration with product management to prioritize solutions that impact client adoption.
Key Responsibilities
Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key client technical pain points, and develop strategies to address technical blockers
Provide AI expertise to support the technical relationship with Google's clients, including product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and collaboration with product management to prioritize solutions that impact client adoption
Work with clients to demonstrate and model Google Cloud product integrations in client/partner environments
Suggest integration strategies, deployment models, platforms, and application infrastructure to implement a total solution using best practices on Google Cloud
Travel to client sites, meetings, and other related events on a case-by-case basis
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience in virtualization or cloud local models in a client-facing or support role
Experience with large data, AI, and mathematical programming structures (e.g., TensorFlow, Python, MATLAB)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building AI solutions and utilizing specific AI structures (e.g., deep learning, LSTM, convolutional networks)
Experience architecting and creating software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems
Experience in data and information management as it relates to large data trends and issues within organizations
Ability to learn rapidly, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, techniques, and solutions in the cloud/IT innovation space
