Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented GIS Professional to join our team, part time. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining our proprietary CRM software using ArcGIS imports, creating linelists, and creating preliminary land exhibits.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, analyze, and maintain geographic data using ArcGIS software.
- Import shapefiles to our proprietary CRM.
- Create maps, reports, and visual representations of spatial data for decision-making.
- Perform spatial analysis and modeling to support projects in [industry, e.g., urban planning, environmental management, transportation].
- Manage and update GIS databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Integrate GIS with other technologies such as remote sensing, GPS, and web mapping applications.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support GIS-related needs.
- Stay updated on emerging GIS technologies and industry best practices.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Land & Real Estate experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar.
- Experience with spatial analysis, geoprocessing, and database management.
- Knowledge of programming languages like Python, SQL, or JavaScript is a plus.
- Familiarity with remote sensing, GPS data collection, and web mapping tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
