General Worker (Temp Worker)
Under general supervision, performs a variety of administrative support and clerical work or manual labor tasks on a temporary, as-needed basis. Provides departmental support during an employee's absence or assists with special projects. Work hours and duration are dependent on the assignment. Able to work a portion of traditional hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Some assignments include non-traditional hours and weekends. Some assignments may require a valid AZ Driver's License. Must be reliable and dependable. Must successfully complete a background check.
? May assist with various administrative tasks and/or work assignments to maintain efficient administrative operations for a department.
? May need to operate common office equipment (i.e. computer, fax machine, telephone, etc.) and software programs necessary to complete work assignments.
? May provide customer service to the public, departments and/or other agencies either by phone, email, or in person in response to questions, provide requested information, or direct queries to appropriate individuals and/or departments.
? May perform a variety of manual labor tasks.
? May perform routine custodial and cleaning tasks.
? May assist at special events.
