General Sales Agent (Multiple Clients)

We partner with a diverse portfolio of companies—from e‑commerce retailers to service providers—to help them grow their customer base and increase revenue. As part of our independent contractor network, you’ll have the opportunity to represent well‑known brands and sell products or services entirely from home.

Position summary

We are looking for motivated sales agents to handle inbound and outbound sales activities for various client programs. In this role you will engage prospective and existing customers, understand their needs, and offer solutions that create value. Each client program is unique, so whether you prefer conversational upselling on service calls or outbound warm leads, there is likely a program that fits your style.

Responsibilities
• Receive inbound inquiries to promote products and services on behalf of our clients.
• Listen actively to understand customer needs and tailor your approach accordingly.
• Deliver persuasive, solution‑oriented presentations that highlight benefits and address objections.
• Close sales, upsell or cross‑sell where appropriate and accurately process orders.
• Maintain detailed records of interactions and outcomes using client‑provided systems.
• Meet or exceed performance metrics such as conversion rate, average order value and customer satisfaction.

Training (general)

All sales agents complete a paid training program that covers client products, sales techniques, compliance and systems. Training duration and schedules vary by program and may include live virtual sessions and self‑paced modules. Ongoing coaching is provided to help you succeed.

Compensation

Earnings vary by program and typically include a base hourly rate plus commission or performance bonuses. Sales assistant roles on freelance platforms often pay between $12 and $16 per hour depending on product complexity and required experience. Exact rates and incentive structures will be communicated when you are matched to a client.

Scheduling

Service hours for sales campaigns are generally available 7 days a week, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern Time. You choose your own hours and may need to meet a weekly minimum, depending on client requirements. Evening and weekend availability can increase your earning potential.

• A Windows 11 desktop or laptop computer (fully patched).
• Reliable high‑speed wired internet connection.
• USB hard‑wired headset and a quiet workspace.
• Comfortable using web‑based CRM and phone systems.
