GCP Python Developer

Overview
Client is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to build and maintain modern web applications using Python, React, and Node.js. This role is cloud-forward on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with an emphasis on Cloud Run and Cloud SQL, plus strong DevOps execution using GitLab CI/CD and Terraform.
Core Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using Python, React, and Node.js
• Implement and manage GCP solutions with a focus on Cloud Run and Cloud SQL
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness
• Participate in code reviews and provide actionable feedback
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform (IaC)
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects and production issues
• Stay current with emerging technologies and apply them when beneficial
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer (or similar)
• Strong Python development experience
• Strong front-end experience with React and development experience with Node.js
• Hands-on experience with GCP, including Cloud Run and Cloud SQL
• Experience with GitLab for source control and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Solid understanding of SDLC and DevOps practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills or Experience
• Experience with Generative AI
