Fund Accountant, Specialist
About the position As a Fund Accountant at Vanguard, you will oversee the daily oversight process of outsourced fund accounting providers and ensure timely completion of deliverables. You'll collaborate with internal and external teams to support client needs, resolve control issues, and maintain high standards of accuracy and quality. Responsibilities • Oversee daily tasks of the unit and assume accountability for services performed; serve as operational expert ensuring accuracy and timeliness • Complete impact analysis of issues and recommend solutions; resolve problems independently and elevate material issues as needed • Drive process improvements and maintain documentation of current procedures; foster understanding of processes and their client impact • Mentor and coach team members; support training and provide feedback to management on performance • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners; proactively communicate and anticipate client needs • Promote risk awareness and participate in assessments; monitor and communicate potential exposures • Monitor controls and procedures to ensure policy adherence • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned Requirements • Three years related business experience • Accounting or Finance related experience preferred • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience • Strong Excel skills needed; Co-Pilot and PowerBi a plus! • Availability to work rotating holidays is required for this team Apply tot his job
