Participate in client meetings to define communication requirements and present graphical concepts
Write short articles and communications for review by senior team members
Collaborate with the team to enhance change management efforts through visually appealing communications
Create graphic visual representations of information for written materials, including emails and blog posts
Design and edit professional documents and graphics in various formats and software
What Is Required (Qualifications)
No formal workforce experience required; a robust graphic design portfolio and at least two writing samples are mandatory
Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a similar field
Excellent graphic design, written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
Familiarity with web content management systems like Drupal
Knowledge of plain language guidelines and Section 508 compliance
Portfolio showcasing diverse graphic design works
Strong team collaboration skills
