Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Remote General Education Teacher to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver live, online instruction to students in grades K-5 in various subjects, including reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies.
Develop and implement lesson plans that meet state and national standards, tailored to the diverse needs of students.
Utilize Vocovisions virtual classroom tools and resources to create an interactive and engaging learning environment.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and support to ensure academic success.
Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school administrators to address concerns and provide updates on student progress.
Collaborate with other educators and support staff to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and technology advancements.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Elementary Education or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
Valid teaching certification for grades K-5 in the state of Ohio.
Proven experience teaching elementary students, with a strong understanding of curriculum and instructional strategies.
Comfortable using virtual classroom technology and tools, with a willingness to adapt to new technologies as needed.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting, managing time effectively and meeting deadlines.
