About the role
VacationHomeRents is hiring a fully remote experienced frontend engineer to help build the best vacation rental meta-search website. You will be working on but not limited to:
Build and deliver high quality, well-designed, mobile-first accommodation meta-search website
Identify or innovate frontend solutions to increase performance and speed
Work closely with the team to support new product initiatives
Since this is a fully remote role, in case you are not in the US, we expect at least 3 hours of daily overlap time with Pacific Time (UTC-08:00) for meetings and discussions.
About you
We are looking for candidates who:
Have 3+ years of experience in frontend development in React
Are familiar with technologies such as Next.js, Webpack, SSR/CSR, CSS, static site generation
Are familiar with AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Are familiar with web vitals and SEO
Are fluent in English communication
It's a big PLUS if you:
Have professional experience in travel products
Have full-stack web development experience (i.e. MongoDB, Express.js, Node.js)
Have a sense of web design
Love travel
