About the position

As a Full-Time Store Associate at ALDI, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the store operates smoothly and provides an exceptional shopping experience for customers. Your primary responsibilities will include merchandising and stocking products, handling cashier duties, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the store. This position requires a commitment to teamwork and collaboration, as you will work closely with other associates and the store management team to enhance customer satisfaction and store performance. In this role, you will consistently demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) that are essential for success. You will be responsible for processing customer purchases efficiently, ensuring that shelves are stocked and merchandise displays are organized and appealing. Providing exceptional customer service is a key aspect of your job, as you will assist customers with their shopping needs and address any inquiries they may have. Additionally, you will be expected to provide feedback to management regarding product availability, inventory losses, and any scanning errors that may occur. Participating in inventory counts and monitoring inventory accuracy will also be part of your responsibilities. Adhering to cash handling policies and procedures is critical to minimizing losses, and you will be required to comply with all company policies while maintaining the security and confidentiality of sensitive information. This position is physically demanding, requiring the ability to stock merchandise, lift products weighing up to 45 pounds, and perform various physical tasks throughout the store. Training will take place at a nearby store until the grand opening of the new location, ensuring that you are well-prepared to meet the expectations of the role.

Requirements
? Must be 18 years of age or older.

? Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.

? Ability to safely and properly operate equipment such as electric/manual hand jacks and floor scrubbers.

? Ability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards.

? Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
