Job Summary: The Customer Service/Sales Representative is responsible for providing excellent sales and customer service support to our clients. This role involves such things as handling customer inquiries, processing orders and promoting our products/services to drive sales. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver that has experience supporting revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, profitability and is proven to have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
 Respond timely and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email and chat.
 Assist customers with product information, order processing and troubleshooting.
 Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
 Identify customer needs and pursue new sales opportunities and recommend appropriate products/services to drive sales.
 Accurately process orders, handle inquiries, and resolve any issues related to orders.
 Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
 Use Company systems to maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions based upon company protocols.
 Work closely with the sales team, marketing department, and other internal teams to help achieve business goals.
 Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to effectively assist customers.
 Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
 Help identify best practices, protocols and processes.
 Make suggestions to improve department.
 Assist in marketing programs.
 Assist in analyzing customers future requirements for forecasting purposes. Provide monthly sales reports of sales pipeline.
 Analyze the territory/markets potential, track sales, and deliver status reports.
 Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
 Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
 Continuously improve through feedback.
Secondary job accountabilities
 Job may require travel for sales calls, trade shows, conferences and sales meetings.
 On Call Needs - We are a global company and there are times that you may be needed outside of normal business hours.
 Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education & Experience:
 High school diploma or equivalent; bachelors degree preferred.
 3-6 years proven experience in customer service and sales.
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
 Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
 Ability to quickly learn and understand changing technology.
 Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
 Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
 Positive attitude, self-motivated, and a team player.
 Able to function independently in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
 Ability to work on a computer and/or communicate by phone for extended periods of time.
