Full-Time Online Tutor for Grades 3-12: Ignite Learning Breakthroughs with Imagine Learning

About the Role: Full-Time Online Tutor We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Online Tutor to join our team on a full-time basis. As an Online Tutor, you'll have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students in Grades 3-12 by providing 1:1 synchronous tutoring and small group interventions in core subjects, French, or Spanish. This is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work from home while being part of a dynamic team that's passionate about education. Key Responsibilities: Provides 1:1 synchronous tutoring through chat, text, and audio communication across multiple grade levels and subject areas based on experience and content knowledge. Coaches and provides content support to students across company platforms, ensuring high-quality instruction and conceptual understanding. Develops, prepares, and delivers synchronous instruction to students needing targeted interventions, using resources and instructional best practices. Self-manages based on team metrics, participating in continuous professional growth activities to stay up-to-date on best practices. Collaborates with colleagues to develop and implement instructional best practices, contributing to a high-quality results-driven team environment. Attends and participates in professional development sessions, completing the company and Synchronous Education Services onboarding program, including the new hire mentor process. Communicates professionally with all stakeholders (students, colleagues, customers) using text, audio, and video technologies. Other duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing needs. Essential Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree in education or a related field, combined with at least 1 year of tutoring experience directly related to the duties of this position. Proficiency in two or more of the following subject areas: Social Studies, English/Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Spanish, or French, as required by the position. A demonstrated growth mindset, with a passion for ongoing learning and professional growth. Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop creative solutions to effectively assist students. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and demanding timeframes. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, online video chat, and database software. Proof of current clearances required within 7 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following qualifications are highly preferred: Active teaching certification. Bilingual fluency for French/Spanish positions. Prior experience in a blended or online environment.
