Full Time – ICF Direct Support Professional- 10p-6a Night Shift – Fort Dodge

One Vision is seeking to hire Full-Time Direct Support Professionals (Med Aide Certified Preferred) for our ICF homes located in Fort Dodge. In order to support a work life balance for our team members, we are currently looking to fill our 10pm - 6am shift with a choice of 4 days or 5 days a week! We are looking for you if you love... Providing innovative ways to support those we serve. Starting hourly wage $17.00 w/out Med Aide Cert., $18.00 with Med Aide Certification. As a Direct Support Professional, you will support individuals with daily living skills such as: housekeeping, laundry, cooking, use of personal technology devices, hygiene and administration of medication in an ICF environment. While supporting people with disabilities, you will learn their individual differences in abilities, personality, interests, learning, motivation, and personal preferences. You will have the opportunity to train and develop individuals, while encouraging community engagement. You will be responsible for driving individuals you support to appointments and leisure activities. Requirements Med Aide Certification Preferred High School diploma/ GED required. Basic computer skills needed to complete documentation. Provide a current driver's license and proof of insurance. Requires some physical activity bending, kneeling, stooping. Lifting or use of lifts for some individuals. Offer of employment is contingent upon background check and drug screen. Willingness to complete required job training and certifications.
