Full Stack Software Engineer I, Analytics Platform

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our team of hardworking and talented engineers building the next set of integrated data science and machine learning tools. By joining the Analytics Platform organization, you’ll be a key contributor in making the systems that power our analytics, insights, and machine learning efforts more reliable and effective. You will work on products that touch thousands of Spotifiers, and by extension, millions of Spotify listeners. What You'll Do Develop Spotify’s in-house analytics platform - built on top of cloud infrastructure, open source tooling, and custom integrationsBe a valued member of an autonomous, multi-functional agile teamBuild and improve features for data discovery, code generation, and artifact sharingContinue the build out of key infrastructure and environments for analytics data processingShare knowledge, promote best practices, and collaborate with teams working on groundbreaking Data Science and Machine Learning problems.Work on a team of experienced engineers and a diverse tech stack covering core infrastructure all the way to front end applications. Who You Are Proficient in any one of the following languages: Go, Python, Java, or Node.js
Have experience working in and supporting Python environments and package dependency management Interested in becoming a domain expert in infrastructure while traversing the entire stackInterest in learning or experience with Kubernetes or DockerCare deeply about testing and monitoring to ensure systems stay healthy and stableA curious problem-solver with excellent communication skills, working best in a collaborative environmentPassionate about the Data Science and Machine Learning user experience and want to accelerate the Data Science and Machine Learning products at Spotify. Where You'll Be This role is based in Toronto. We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home. We ask that you come in 3 times per week.
