Full Stack Ruby Developer Work Type: Full Time Location:Remote Clearance: with a Top Secret, Secret, or current DHS EOD Preferred. Clearable candidate requiredThe Job:The selected candidate will support Agile Application Development technologies and capabilities in the areas of software development, systems engineering, integration, and test of software applications and infrastructure. What You ll Do • Will work within a fast-paced Agile DevOps team contributing and collaborating within your scrum team on a daily basis.• Analyze software requirements and provide solutions. • Perform analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and maintenance of software solutions. • Provide Full Stack software development support for User Interfaces, REST APIs, Data Access Layers. • Ensure software developed passes and completes stages within the bolthires pipeline. • Work in a Paired Programming environmentQualifications: • Must be able to pass a DHS Suitability clearance • Minimum 3+ years Agile Software Development experience • Experience in full-stack development, to include Ruby on Rails expertise with object-oriented programming concepts • Experience in Frontend UI development with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue • Experience in Web Based Full Stack Development • Experience developing in a Docker and Docker Compose environment • Experience writing automated test such as: unit, integration, functional, 508, performance, and end-to-end.• Experience developing in environments that utilize bolthires/CD tools for build, test, secure and deploy • Excellent communication skills • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills Nice to have's: • Experience working with AWS tools and environments • Experience developing in a microservices architecture • Experience deploying microservices to Kubernetes platforms • Web technologies - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, jQuery • Experience with database tools such as Liquibase, Flyway, ElasticSearch, Opensearch • Experience working with Jenkins Continuous integration tools and DevOps automation • DHS/USCIS experience preferred Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Compensation and BenefitsSalary Range: $110,000-$125,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs.
