AI Engineer, Visual Generation Pipeline (Contract)

The team you’ll be joining and impact you’ll have You’ll join a specialized team focused on advancing AI’s ability to understand complex data visuals – a critical gap in our LLM capabilities. Your work will directly contribute to training models that can interpret charts, graphs, and visual data with human-level comprehension. You’ll collaborate with other engineers to create a comprehensive dataset of augmented and synthetic visualizations at scale. This is a fast-paced, deliverable-focused project with clear milestones: ship the first dataset within 4 weeks, with potential to extend into future AI training initiatives What you’ll be doing from day one: Generate diverse chart types using modern plotting or generation libraries at scale, creating variations that challenge AI interpretation Design sophisticated question-answer pairs that incorporate chain of thought prompting, teaching models to reason through visual data step-by-step, at scale. Leverage LangChain/LangGraph to build robust prompt chains that extract insights from complex visualizations Who you are Expert Python Coding You have hands-on experience with LangChain/LangGraph and understand how to craft effective chain of thought prompts for AI systems Your portfolio showcases synthetic data generation at scale.
