Remote Full-time
Company: DiscoverU Health
Location: Remote (US-based or able to work US hours preferred)
Project-Based Contract
DiscoverU Health is looking for an experienced and versatile Full-Stack Developer to bring our new digital vision to life. This is a high-impact project to completely revamp our current website, with over 18+ new pages to be developed based on an approved Figma design. The ideal candidate is a dynamic problem-solver with a passion for creating intuitive, seamless, and visually rich web experiences — someone who can build fast, responsive websites with clean code and an eye for UX.

What You’ll Be Doing
• End-to-end website development of 18+ pages based on a Figma design (UI/UX assets will be provided).
• Build and implement a robust WordPress backend, either as the full framework or headless CMS (depending on tech stack alignment).
• Front-end development using modern frameworks like Next.js, React, or a similar JavaScript-based solution that plays well with WordPress.
• Integrate custom sign-up and login flows that collect user data from multiple-choice questions and conditional logic forms.
• Ensure secure and scalable data handling for user submissions and backend storage.
• Create seamless third-party integrations, including: A third-party wellness platform/app and Google Reviews and Google Maps/Geo-location services
• Optimize for speed, mobile responsiveness, SEO, and accessibility (WCAG compliance).
• Set up scalable hosting and deploy the finished site.

Requirements
• 3+ years full-stack development experience, with a proven track record of WordPress builds (custom themes or headless).
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (Next.js, React, Vue, etc.) and how to integrate with CMSs like WordPress.
• Proficiency with PHP, REST APIs, MySQL, and WordPress plugin customization.
• Experience with responsive design, animations, and front-end performance optimization.
• Familiarity with user authentication, form logic, and secure data handling.
• Demonstrated experience with Figma-to-code workflows and collaboration with design teams.
• Knowledge of best practices in Google integrations (Reviews API, Maps/Geo-location).
• Experience integrating third-party APIs with custom workflows is a huge plus.
• (Bonus if you have experience with Headless CMS, Vercel, or Netlify deployment.)

You’re a Great Fit If:
• You’re self-driven, efficient, and can manage complex builds independently.
• You enjoy collaborating with design and content teams to deliver creative, scalable solutions.
• You think through the user journey and optimize both front and back-end flows with care.
• You’re excited about building systems that improve wellness, connection, and impact.

Project Timeline
Project start: As soon as possible (mid June - Beginning July)
Estimated duration: ~6 weeks, depending on availability
Project scope: 18+ pages, forms, integrations, CMS setup

How to Apply
