Full-Stack Developer and Systems Administrator

Greene Education is seeking a skilled developer and systems administrator to support and grow our educational technology platform. You'll be responsible for both the technical infrastructure that keeps our systems running and the application development that powers our day-to-day operations. Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain web applications supporting business operations - Administer and monitor cloud-hosted Linux servers - Ensure platform security, uptime, and performance - Implement and refine user-facing features based on operational needs - Manage databases, including schema design and optimization - Integrate third-party services and APIs as business needs evolve - Troubleshoot issues across the full stack — from server to browser Requirements - 3+ years of full-stack web development experience - Proficiency in a modern PHP framework (Laravel preferred) - Linux server administration experience - Solid understanding of web security best practices - Relational database design and management skills - Frontend development with JavaScript and CSS frameworks - Strong communication and self-management skills for remote work Nice to Have - Experience with document generation or e-signature workflows - Cloud hosting experience (AWS preferred) - Background in or familiarity with the education sector Who You Are You enjoy owning problems end-to-end, are comfortable context-switching between infrastructure and application work, and prefer understanding root causes over applying quick fixes.
