Job Title: Insurance Coverage Attorney (Fully Remote – California)
Location: Remote (California Residents Only)
Billable Hour Requirement: 1,875 Hours Annually

Position Summary:
They are seeking a skilled and motivated Insurance Coverage Attorney to join their growing team. This role is fully remote for candidates residing in California and offers the opportunity to work on complex and high-profile matters involving commercial general liability, professional liability, excess and surplus lines, and other insurance policies.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience analyzing insurance policies, preparing coverage opinions, and handling coverage litigation. Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and interpret various types of insurance policies (CGL, D&O, E&O, etc.)
• Draft detailed coverage opinions and reservation of rights and denial letters
• Handle all phases of insurance coverage litigation including pleadings, discovery, dispositive motions, and trial preparation
• Communicate effectively with clients, co-counsel, and opposing counsel
• Maintain timely and accurate billing to meet the 1,875-hour annual requirement
• Work independently and efficiently in a remote environment while maintaining high-quality work product
Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar
• 3+ years of insurance coverage experience, preferably at a law firm
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between [$200,000 – $250,000 annually]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
