We are hiring immediately for a short-term, remote support project. Paid training and limited spots available. This is a first come, first served opportunity we are sharing with you, if you're ready to jump in, don't wait!
Position Overview
ā¢ Role: Tier 1 Tech Support ā General Customer Support for an ISP
ā¢ Pay: $14.25/hour (temp position with the possibility of extension based on company needs)
ā¢ Schedule: Your 8-hour shift will be between 6am-7pm PST
ā¢ Project Duration: 1 to 5 weeks depending on performance and company needs
ā¢ Training: Paid
ā¢ OT Available: Yes (based on company needs)
ā¢ Job Focus: Supporting users during move-ins, assisting with internet setup, basic troubleshooting, and general tech support
You Must Meet the Following Requirements:
ā¢ Be 18 years or older
ā¢ Be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
ā¢ Able to provide customer service in a friendly and professional way
ā¢ Have a quiet, distraction-free home workspace
ā¢ Have basic tech knowledge, including knowing the difference between a modem and a router
Required Technical Equipment (Not Provided)
ā¢ Windows-based laptop or desktop
(Macs, Chromebooks, tablets, iPads are not compatible, you will be asked to share your screen during the interview to test your computer specs)
ā¢ 8GB of RAM minimum (16GB preferred)
ā¢ Dual monitors (your laptop or PC is considered one and one additional monitor is needed) and a high-quality headset
ā¢ Hardwired internet connection with an ethernet cable only
(No Wi-Fi, mobile hotspots, or satellite internet)
ā¢ Minimum download speed: 20 Mbps
ā¢ Minimum upload speed: 10 Mbps, with a Ping of 20 or lower
ā¢ Test your speed at: www.speedtest.net (if you are interested, please run this test on your laptop or PC, (not from your cell phone), please attach the screenshot in your response to this application.
3 Training Classes ā Limited Spots Available, once class #1 is filled we will push you toward the second and third class.
Class 1 (3 candidates needed)
ā¢ Orientation: Tuesday, July 30 | 10:00 AM ā 2:00 PM PST
ā¢ Training: July 31 ā Aug 1 | 7:00 AM ā 2:30 PM PST
ā¢ Go Live: August 3rd or 4th, we will confirm during the interview
ā¢ Project Duration: Up to 5 weeks
Class 2 (12 candidates needed)
ā¢ Orientation: Tuesday, August 6 | 10:00 AM ā 2:00 PM PST
ā¢ Training: August 7ā8 | 7:00 AM ā 2:30 PM PST
ā¢ Go Live: August 10th or 11th, we will confirm during the interview
ā¢ Project Duration: 3 weeks
Class 3 (11 candidates needed)
ā¢ Orientation: Tuesday, August 13 | 10:00 AM ā 2:00 PM PST
ā¢ Training: August 14ā15 | 7:00 AM ā 2:30 PM PST
ā¢ Go Live: August 17th or 18th, we will confirm during the interview
ā¢ Project Duration: 1 week (with potential to extend based on companies' needs and performance)
