Frontend Developer Internship About the Internship We are seeking Frontend Developer Interns who are excited about building clean, responsive user interfaces and integrating directly with real backend services. You will develop pages and components in our dashboard, admin tools, and waitlist onboarding flows. Your work will interact with our FastAPI services, using secure session handling via HTTP-only cookies. You will be working on a real product, directly contributing to our production demo and internal tools. This role suits individuals who enjoy learning independently, iterating quickly, and collaborating within a startup environment. Key Responsibilities • Build and extend UI pages using React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS • Create reusable components and maintain consistent design across the platform • Integrate REST APIs with session-based auth using HTTP-only cookies • Develop dashboards for user management and Despacho/Bodega workflows • Handle authentication/route protection, loading states, and error boundaries • Collaborate with backend interns to define API contracts and debug integration issues • Write clean, maintainable frontend code with attention to UX • Participate in standups, code reviews, and team technical discussions What We’re Looking For • Students or recent graduates in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields • Solid foundation in JavaScript and React • Basic understanding of Next.js (routing, pages/app, API consumption) • Comfort working with REST APIs, JSON, and browser network debugging • Experience using Git and branches/pull requests workflows • Self-driven mindset and willingness to research unfamiliar topics Nice to Have • Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or other utility-first styling frameworks • Experience with TypeScript • Understanding of session-based authentication with HTTP-only cookies • Experience handling protected front-end routes and state persistence • Interest in UI/UX decisions, dashboard design, and data presentation • Exposure to component design patterns and state management (Redux/Context) What We Offer • Hands-on frontend experience used in a real demo and tooling • Collaboration across backend and frontend workflows end-to-end • Flexible working structure oriented around deliverables instead of fixed hours • Opportunities to shape UI/UX decisions in an early-stage product • Exposure to modern frontend stack: React, Next.js, Tailwind, and API integration Details Duration: 3 months Commitment: Flexible workload based on deliverables Compensation: Unpaid internship focused on real-world experience and mentorship Application Process Email your resume and, if available, GitHub, portfolio, or project links to [email protected].
