Front-End Pharmacy Technician -Remote (Michigan)

Job Summary...
Although this position is remote, the person must reside in Michigan.
Responsible for entering new prescriptions for patients, processing exceptions, making contact with physician offices and patients. Assists in Back End efforts suck as picking, packing, and manifesting based on business needs.
Job Responsibilities
Ā Provides pharmacist call back and/or patient quality assurance support.
Ā Responsible for entering patient demographics and prescription into the data processing system.
Ā Works with new patient/new referral imaging folder.
Ā Loads insurance plan and coordination of benefits into the data processing system for new patient/new referrals.
Ā Participates in the review/audit of test claims for new patient/new referral.
Ā Handles processing of reorders and emails distribution as needed.
Ā Responsible for image indexing, AE report filing,
Ā Provides primary support and expertise for specialized programs such as ETT or Pharma.
Ā Performs the job responsibilities listed for programs that require special handling or provide support for specific disease states.
Ā Other registered and/or licensed responsibilities as judgement or necessity dictate.
Ā Pharmacy Tech Front End is a certified and/or licensed position (based on state requirements).

The actual salary an employee can expect to receive, plus bonus pursuant to the terms of any bonus plan if applicable, will depend on experience, seniority, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law. External Basic Qualifications
Ā High school diploma from an accredited school or equivalent GED
Ā Must have an active pharmacy technician license or certification as required by state Board of Pharmacy
Ā 1 year of work experience in healthcare, specialty pharmacy, PBM and/or call center settings
Ā Experience provided customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Ā Basic knowledge of and skills using MS Windows, MS Office Suite and/or similar operating/software programs
Preferred Qualifications
Ā Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a diplomatic and confidential manner.
An employee in this position can expect an hourly rate between $16.50 to $22.00. The actual salary will depend on experience, seniority, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law.
