Key Responsibilities • Contribute to the programming plan, software improvement, and overall product lifecycle for Delta.com products, ensuring high-quality and reliable solutions. • Field inquiries from other product groups and encourage cross-group collaboration to drive innovation and excellence. • Participate in product design, implementation tuning, and testing, as well as production monitoring to ensure seamless execution. • Demonstrate expertise in current programming design and improvement, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices. • Collaborate with other product colleagues, including UX designers, developers, and product managers, to create secure, solid, and versatile software solutions. • Write custom code or scripts to automate infrastructure, monitoring services, and experiments, driving efficiency and innovation. • Create meaningful dashboards, logging, alarming, and reactions to ensure proactive issue detection and resolution. • Identify unstable code regions and implement fixes, ensuring the highest quality and reliability. • Develop and share technical solutions that can be utilized across the portfolio, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing. • Identify product upgrades to create a better experience for end-users, driving customer satisfaction and loyalty. • Act as a resource for technical issues, create documentation, and monitor service levels, ensuring seamless execution. • Research and explore technical issues affecting the organization and suggest solutions, driving innovation and improvement. • Stay updated with industry trends through benchmarking, participation in professional affiliations, and more, to inform others about key technology directions. • Provide application support for software running in production, ensuring high-quality and reliable solutions. • Review performance and capacity of all production components, including code, framework, data, and message processing, driving optimization and improvement. • Respond to emergency high-need issues and outages as they emerge, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal impact. • Participate in learning activities around AWS cloud, Agile software development, and development of core practices, driving continuous learning and improvement. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: • A four-year certification in Data Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, and two years of experience in programming development or a related field. • Alternatively, a Graduate degree in Data Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. • Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Angular 4+, including component mentality, data/binding methodology, modular/clean code, client validation, and security. • Experience with RxJS Observables and Angular Component Dev Kit. • Knowledge of programming development using Agile Scrum methodology. • Experience with responsive web design, interactive diagrams, and graphs. • Familiarity with integrating with APIs/Microservices. • Test-driven development and robust unit test creation using Jasmine, Karma, and Protractor. Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: • Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS. • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools. • Familiarity with containerization using Docker. • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
