The UPS Airport Warehouse Workers play a crucial part in our logistics operations. As Freight Operations Associate, they work at a modern hub that acts as the central point of our global air network. They are expected to sort, load and unload package volumes within the facility, or work outside in loading and unloading UPS aircraft using specialized equipment. This role necessitates physical resilience, close attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Freight Operations Associate:
Follow safety regulations when transporting packages weighing no more than 70 lbs.
Operate equipment to assist with the loading and unloading of aircrafts.
One must adhere to safety procedures when working at heights to minimize the risk of accidents and ensure the safety of workers.
Effectively manage packages with the use of UPS machinery.
Join forces with a diverse and enthusiastic squad to drive progress.
Make sure that you remain dedicated to achieving optimal efficiency and paying close attention to details.
Qualifications and Experience of Freight Operations Associate:
Proficiency to lift loads as heavy as 70 pounds.
Physical staying power and strength required for sustained lifting.
