Freight Broker/Dispatcher

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the transportation of goods, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining effective communication with drivers and clients. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to analyze data, and proficiency in transportation management systems. Responsibilities • Manage incoming and outgoing freight by utilizing transportation management systems.• Communicate effectively with drivers to provide clear instructions and updates regarding shipments. • Analyze shipping routes and schedules to optimize delivery times and reduce costs. • Maintain accurate records of shipments, including data entry of shipping and receiving information. • Utilize phone systems to handle inquiries from clients and drivers professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. • Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations and address any issues that arise during transportation.• Monitor the status of shipments and proactively resolve any delays or complications. Requirements • This job is purely BASED ON COMMISSION. • Previous 1 year of experience with Loadlink and Load board is mandatory. • Must have knowledge of Manifest and other border crossing requirements and documents. • Familiarity with freight operations and supply chain processes is a plus. • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette. • Proficient in using transportation management systems for tracking shipments.• Ability to analyze data effectively to make informed decisions regarding routing and scheduling. • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry tasks. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities efficiently. as a Dispatcher and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics processes!
