Freelance Translation Evaluator – Korean (Korea-based)
Project Overview:We are seeking native Korean speakers residing in South Korea to join a high-impact AI project focused on improving machine translation quality. In this role, you will evaluate video translations—specifically titles and subtitles—from a user’s perspective. Your feedback will help enhance the accuracy, naturalness, and user experience of real-time translation models.Your contribution will directly support the optimization of cutting-edge language technologies and help expand our high-quality evaluation datasets.Key Responsibilities:Review and assess AI-generated Korean translations for clarity, accuracy, and cultural relevance
Provide constructive feedback to inform ongoing model improvements
Follow project guidelines and complete tasks with attention to detail
Candidate Requirements:Native Korean speaker currently living in South Korea
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Strong proficiency in English (all training and materials are in English)
Translation or localization experience preferred
Prior participation in Appen projects is a plus
Stable availability between 9 AM – 6 PM (Korea Standard Time)
Reliable internet connection and a suitable device for remote work
Completion of the onboarding survey is required prior to official project invitation
