The Opportunity We are looking for a Freelance Editor to support the launch and growth of our New York hub. This role can be fully remote, with occasional travel to New York to collaborate with the team, attend key events and support content production. You will play a key role in producing high-quality editorial and commercial content, helping establish BizClik’s voice, credibility and presence in the North American market. What You’ll Be Doing Editorial Content • Write and edit high-quality articles, features and thought leadership content across BizClik platforms • Produce SEO-led digital content aligned to key sectors including AI, sustainability and enterprise technology • Support magazine production including front-of-book and feature content • Maintain strong editorial standards across tone, structure and storytelling Commercial & Campaign Content • Create and edit branded content including company profiles and interview-led features • Work closely with commercial and production teams to deliver client campaigns • Balance editorial integrity with commercial objectives Content Growth & Performance • Support consistent daily publishing output • Contribute to content planning and editorial calendars • Use performance insights to refine content approach and maximise engagement Market & Industry Engagement • Research and engage with senior leaders across North America • Conduct interviews with C-suite executives • Attend events (virtually and in-person where required) What Success Looks Like • High-quality, consistent content output across US-focused platforms • Strong engagement and growth across North American audiences • Credible, insight-led content aligned to BizClik’s brand and sectors • Effective delivery of both editorial and commercial campaigns Skills & Experience • Strong background in journalism, editorial or B2B content creation • Experience writing for digital platforms with an understanding of SEO • Confident producing thought leadership and interview-led content • Ability to work independently at pace while maintaining quality • Experience working with commercial content or branded campaigns is a plus Personal Approach • Strong storyteller with a sharp editorial eye • Proactive and self-driven • Commercially aware • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, scale-up environment • Collaborative and adaptable across time zones Why This Role This is an opportunity to play a key role in building BizClik’s North American presence from the ground up, shaping content, voice and audience in one of the world’s most competitive markets.
