Responsibilities
- Participate in designing, coding, and program testing for in-house software solutions
- Assist in troubleshooting and debugging code for existing codebase
- Take ownership of conducting end-user training programs after software delivery
- Manage multiple projects at a time and respond quickly to tech support requests
- Collaborate with other teams to implement systems in the production environment
- Make sure to find issues and concerns and report immediately to the IT manager
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation as per the company standards
Requirements
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer... Science, Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in software programming (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
- Experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, C++, C#, SQL server database, etc.
- Excellent knowledge in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework, including JSF, Wicket, GWT, and Spring MVC
- Advanced understanding of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify minor errors or code inconsistencies
- Ability to keep a proactive attitude for troubleshooting bugs and issues in the system
- Ability to communicate fluently in English
- Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) and a 4-hour overlap with U.S. time zones for online coding jobs.
