Job Description
We are looking to hire resourceful analysts to investigate activity for all types of check related risk.
In this role, you will research transactions for incoming deposit activity with U.S. Bank. Types of activity includes, but is not limited to Branch ATM, MCD, EWS notifications, and incoming returns.
To be a successful fraud analyst, you should have excellent research techniques, knowledge of the banking industry and current fraud trends. A top-notch fraud analyst should be able to work quickly, sometimes under pressure, and have meticulous attention to details. This position will work alerts using various methods and tools. If fraud is suspected or confirmed, the analyst will pledge or close the account. Additionally, the analyst will take measures to protect the customer and bank from continued fraudulent activity.
Schedule: As fraud trends increases and risk to customers increase, available schedules could include weekends, holidays and evenings. Flexible analysts are desired.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Two or more years of related work experience
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Ability to interpret technical and administrative instructions and use as a guide in solving similar problems or situations
Experience with loss mitigation
Effective verbal and written communication skills (English C1)
Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
