About our company
We are a rapidly growing healthcare company focused on transforming how sleep disorders are diagnosed and treated. Our mission is simple: remove the friction from healthcare and create a better experience for patients navigating sleep apnea and sleep therapy.
We operate across diagnostics, treatment, and ongoing therapy support. As part of our next phase of growth, we are building an internal technology platform designed to automate workflows such as CPAP resupply, compliance monitoring, and patient engagement.
To support this initiative, we are looking for a Fractional Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to provide technical leadership and help guide the development of our software platform.
The Role
The Fractional CTO will serve as the senior technical leader for the company, helping shape the architecture, engineering strategy, and technology roadmap.
This role will work closely with leadership to design scalable systems, oversee development efforts, and ensure the technology we build is secure, maintainable, and aligned with the company’s long-term vision.
This is a part-time advisory and leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys helping companies build strong technical foundations without the need for a full-time executive position.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the company’s overall technology strategy and architecture.
Guide the development of a platform designed to automate healthcare workflows, including CPAP resupply and therapy compliance.
Oversee the design and implementation of APIs and system integrations.
Help recruit, interview, and mentor software engineers.
Review architecture decisions and ensure the codebase remains scalable and maintainable.
Provide oversight of AI integrations including large language models, automation tools, and voice AI platforms.
Establish development standards, security practices, and technical documentation.
Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on technology investments and product direction.

What We’re Looking For
Proven experience leading engineering teams or serving as a CTO or senior technical leader.
Strong experience designing and scaling API-driven platforms.
Experience building systems that integrate multiple third-party APIs and services.
Experience working with LLM or generative AI technologies.
Experience guiding software architecture and preventing technical debt in growing systems.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly with non-technical leadership.
Comfort operating in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.
Engagement
This is a fractional role, typically requiring 5–15 hours per week depending on project needs.
Flexible remote engagement.
