They are seeking a detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to assist with financial reporting, monthly close activities, and data collation to support strategic decision-making across the organization.ResponsibilitiesDrive mission-critical financial reporting and business partnering activities (planning and forecasting reconciliations, monthly close activities, etc.)Execute and drive financial close and reporting processes in partnership with business and accounting teamEnsure accuracy of operating expense & capex reporting by working closely with business and accounting teams to make sure data is accurately captured and reported in line with set guidelines. Working with the accounting team on accruals as neededClosely tracking variances from operating plans and forecasts; by reviewing the monthly close financial statements with the accounting team and business partnersEnsure high-quality operating plans and forecasts minimizing variances of actuals from plan. This includes tracking of the close process and keeping stakeholders updated of any gaps vs expected forecastsSupport the FP&A organization through end-to-end finance transformation – drive standardization and automation of reporting across the organizationSkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance requiredPrior Finance (1-2 years) FP&A/accounting/ reporting experience across revenue, expense, cash or capexExperience with SAP (ECC and S4 Hana environments) and HFM OracleExperience with analytics tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, Google Data Studio, and spreadsheet tools (excel, Google Sheets) is requiredSound fundamentals on financial accounting knowledge, analytical ability, and sound understanding of the media ecosystem including some understanding of Gracenote's products and servicesBenefitsComprehensive health and wellness plansA 401(k) with a Nielsen company matchA generous paid time off policyA company-provided vehicleDiscretionary incentive/bonus eligibilityCompany OverviewNielsen provides a comprehensive understanding of what consumers watch and buy.
