The Blue Cross of Idaho Foundation for Health is the private 501(c)3 foundation that was established by Blue Cross of Idaho Health Services Inc. more than 20 years ago to give back to the state and address the root causes that impact health. Its vision is to build a healthier Idaho and create impact across our state.

The Foundation has new opportunity for a Program Specialist. This role provides program management and support for the Foundation initiatives and projects, including stakeholder engagement, event logistics, grant coordination, program reporting and program performance.

This position is located in Boise, Idaho and will require nights, weekends, and travel as needed.

To be considered for this role, you have:

Required Experience:
• 5 years’ coordinating project logistics, schedules, meetings, projects, community development and/or relationship management.

Required Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (Two years’ relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college)

In this role, we will ask you to:
• Support stakeholder and community activities and represents the Foundation at events, serving as a primary point of contact for program related activities, and responds to inquiries from the public.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and organizations, including presentations and facilitating discussions
• Assist with grant coordination and data collection, including program evaluation, research, monitoring of grants, surveys, and grant reporting.
• Schedule, organize and coordinate logistics for events, workshops, programs, meetings, and similar.
• Compile and assemble information from various data sources and prepare and finalize reports, manuals, agendas, correspondence.
• Provide advanced program support, including general support, budget tracking, preparing presentations, correspondence, and maintaining appointments or reservations.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range is $28.23/hour to $39.52/hour. The position is eligible for an annual incentive bonus (variable depending on company and employee performance). Other types of compensation may also be available, such as overtime.

The pay range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, internal equity, geography, business or organizational needs, and alignment with market data. At Blue Cross of Idaho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for the position. Compensation decisions are dependent on factors and circumstances at the time of offer.
