Role Objective:Providing around the clock on call maintenance coordination and oversight for 5 assigned aircraft from the Part 135 Charter Fleet.Essential Job Tasks:Support flight crews with on the road maintenance support via phone, text and emailCommunicate with maintenance vendors remotely via phone, text and email to return aircraft to serviceAssist Director of Maintenance with scheduled and maintenance and planningAssist with performing onsite and remote vendor auditsWork flexible/extended hours with short-notice schedule changesSpeak/read/write English fluentlyWork in an at times physically demanding roleComplete a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug test and background checkCompetencies:Being a self-starter who is highly motivated with strong initiativeInterpersonal skills with an emphasis on strong communication skills in both oral and written forms Effective time management as this position requires odd hours at times, no shiftsAttention to detailFocus on excellenceAdaptabilityAccountability and having hard conversationsOther cognitive processingMemorizationReasoning and connecting ideas Adept quick learningProblem finding and solving Multi-taskingDetail orientation Must have strong computer and communication skills. Physical Demands – As Needed Basis:Able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, squat and/or crawlAble to sit without standing for long periods of timeCapable of lifting or moving items at different heights weighing up to 75 poundsAble to hear clearly verbal communications in person, on the telephoneTravel:Some travel will be required depending on aircraft status and proximity to your location Required Education/Experience:Three (3) years proven experience in a similar positionA&P Certification preferred High School diploma or GEDHas no certificate action since the date of the interviewHas no misdemeanors or felonies since the interview dateLANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read, analyze, interpret and understand technical procedures and governmental regulations, sometimes quickly and under stressful or emergency situations. Able to effectively present information to and respond to questions from management, dispatch, crew, air traffic control, and the general public.Able to speak and be understood in English, including shouted verbal commands during emergency situations.REASONING/PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITYAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Capable of interpreting a variety of multiple instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
