Providing excellent client service by accurately opening new accounts and other products for clients.

Maintaining accounts and products as requested by clients.

Quoting rates, terms, and fees on products and services, providing necessary disclosures.

Expanding the use of alternative delivery systems like Online Banking and ATM services.

Identifying borrowing needs and assisting in consumer loan applications.

Participating in sales events and promotional activities to increase sales and cross-sell opportunities.

Greeting clients courteously and maintaining a friendly demeanor.

Processing client transactions accurately and expeditiously.
,
Performing cash audits, alarm tests, and other compliance tasks to ensure branch security.

Coaching Banking Specialist I on products, services, and procedures.

Identifying sales opportunities and referring clients to appropriate areas.

Conducting follow-ups on maturing accounts and prospecting opportunities.
,
Encouraging clients to consider other bank products to drive profitability and satisfaction.

Participating in community service activities to meet Community Reinvestment Act goals.
Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent
,
Minimum of 12 months previous client service experience preferred
,
Previous cash-handling experience required
,
Previous banking experience strongly preferred
,
NMLS registration preferred
,
Developed customer service skills, including written and verbal communication
,
Ability to use a PC and alpha/numeric keyboard
,
Flexible work week schedule, which may include Saturdays
