FINOPS Strategist

Infosys is seeking FINOPS Strategist. This positions will be responsible for planning and executing strategies to identify and reduce costs within Client environment and collaborating with multiple teams to facilitate implementation of specified cost-saving targets. Thorough understanding of current cloud cost trends, technologies and mitigation strategies, Proven ability to design and implement innovative solutions that enhance financial control and cost efficiency. Ability to leverage advanced analytics to derive actionable insights on cloud expenditure. Showcase best practices on the development of governance, financial process and procedures; tailored to the needs of the technology team and other stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Raleigh NC, Bridgewater NJ, Phoenix AZ or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider three year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education.

• At least 11 years of Information Technology experience. Bachelor’s degree in business/MIS major or other related fields of study

• 3+ years of experience with tools like Apptio, Looker, Domo, FinOut, Densify, Cloudhealth etc.

• 5+ years of experience of public cloud infrastructure technologies

• Proven understanding of cloud billing, metering and the impact of usage patterns on total cost of ownership (TCO)

• Established capability to establish best practices and publish policies related forecasting, budgeting, authorization, provisioning, utilization and billing

• Expertise in designing and implementing a cloud financial management roadmap to support client’s business objectives

• Able to design meaningful dashboards highlighting key cost-saving opportunities and trends

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in implementing accurate key performance measures relating to operational and finance best practices

• Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams and proven ability to align priorities across finance and technology

• Able to produce meaningful insights from large, complex datasets

• Strong organizational skills, good judgment and collaborating with different stakeholders
