Qualifications Experience in M&A or coverage at a bulge bracket investment bank. Background as an investor at a large-cap or mid-market private equity firm. Track record as an analyst at a hedge fund. Strong familiarity with SEC EDGAR filings (10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks). Ability to understand and execute complex financial workflows at a conceptual and practical level. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. No prior AI experience required — just financial expertise and analytical rigor. Compensation & Engagement Rate: $90–$105 per hour (depending on background, experience, and location). Contractor Status: You will be classified as an at-will contractor with Mercor. Payment: Weekly payouts via Stripe Connect, based on self-logged hours. Exceptional candidates may be offered discretionary pay adjustments.
