Responsibilities Establishes rapport quickly with participants, setting them at ease and providing direction regarding financial transactions and long-term asset planning Understands participant needs and outlines appropriate solutions leveraging TIAA products and services, explaining viable options using clear and simple explanations Answers participant questions by communicating financial plan details and providing further explanation when necessary Executes transactions and service requests on behalf of participant Maintains records of all participant interactions, including inquiries, complaints, and actions taken, as well as banking service transactions performed Refers participant to business partners when appropriate to help participant achieved their desired outcome Skills Strong customer service mindset Professionalism - reliable, possessing high quality standards, collaborative and team-oriented, respectful and inclusive, demonstrating strong attention to detail and able to work well in a structured operational environment Able to communicate clearly and professionally verbally and in writing Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and navigate multiple business systems Demonstrate care, compassion, and empathy A learner's mindset, being coachable and open to feedback Performs well in a scheduled work environment SRC Indicator: Series 6 or 7; Series 63 Life and Health Insurance License (Multi-state) - Multiple Issuers required within 120 Days Must be able to successfully complete employment screening, including a Credit Report background check Interview will be in-person Associate's Degree or Equivalent Experience Preferred Banking, Call Center, Customer Service or Sales experience is helpful (though again, not required) Benefits Superior retirement program Highly competitive health, wellness and work life offerings Company Overview TIAA is a financial services company that specializes in providing retirement plans, IRAs, mutual funds, and life insurance.
