Yet, we’re still at the start of our journey, and we want exceptional people to join us.About the roleWe're seeking a high-performing, analytically minded Financial Operations & Automation Specialist to join our team. This highly visible and cross-functional role supports financial reporting, metrics tracking, and is pivotal in driving automation and implementing AI-driven solutions across the business. You'll work directly with the Head of Operations and partner closely with teams across the business, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and decision-making. Examples of your responsibilities will include:Automation & AI EnablementDesign and implement automation workflows to reduce manual overhead (e.g., invoicing, reconciliation, reporting)Evaluate, integrate, and maintain AI/automation tools that streamline financial and operational workflowsPrototype and deploy lightweight LLM-powered agents (e.g., GPT, Claude) to automate internal operations or decision-makingCollaborate with stakeholders across finance, ops, and other functions to identify and act on high-impact automation opportunitiesFinancial Systems & Reporting​​Build and maintain scalable internal reporting systems using modern tools and APIsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis with dynamic, data-driven modelsAssist with board, investor, and audit reporting, streamlining data collection and improving quality through automationEnsure data accuracy by partnering with external accounting providers and managing systems integrationsData & Performance AnalyticsDefine and evolve real-time dashboards for company-wide metrics and OKRsLead deep-dive analyses on business performance and operational bottlenecksPartner with team leads to deliver data solutions that improve decision-makingBuild lightweight internal tools (dashboards, scripts, mini-apps) to support cross-functional initiativesOperational ExecutionOwn and run recurring workflows that keep the business moving, from invoicing and reconciliations to finance ops coordinationAct as the operational glue across teams, surfacing blockers, driving accountability, and improving handoffsStep into ambiguous operational gaps, bring structure, and implement sustainable solutions without waiting for permissionAbout you2–4 years of experience in a hybrid technical/business role, ideally with:- A foundation in consulting, finance, or operations (e.g., strategy, FP&A, bizops)- Hands-on experience in startups or tech-forward teamsFluency in spreadsheets and modern data tools (Excel, Equals, Snowflake, Notion, etc.)Obsessed with new technology, AI, LLMs, automation APIs, and AI agents, and how it can be leveraged to drive efficiency and business outcomesSelf-starter mentality with the ability to navigate ambiguity and prioritize autonomouslyProcess and execution-oriented, with a proven ability to drive initiatives from conception to completionStrong understanding of SaaS business models and recurring revenue metricsBonus: Experience with tools like LangChain, Zapier, Make, Retool, or internal tooling platformsBonus: experience with programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, SQL)What we offerA stimulating, fun, and caring work environment with high drive and ambitionOpportunity to join an early-stage climate tech startup with global aspirationsCompetitive compensation, including a very attractive employee option programUnlimited PTO & flexible working scheduleA remote-first setupStipend for setting up your home office & co-working spaceRegular off-sites with the team in exciting locations ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Don’t meet every single requirement?
