Job Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Contract Details: Full-time, permanent position Role and Responsibilities: As the Financial Controller for Revenues and Expenditures, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities related to the company's revenue and expenditure. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing financial strategies and policies to ensure efficient revenue and expenditure management. - Monitoring and analyzing the company's financial performance, identifying areas for improvement, and making recommendations to senior management. - Preparing accurate and timely financial reports, including budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis. - Overseeing the preparation of financial statements and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. - Managing the company's cash flow, including forecasting, budgeting, and monitoring. - Reviewing and approving financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures. - Collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of revenue and expenditure transactions. - Providing guidance and support to the finance team, ensuring their professional development and adherence to best practices. - Building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, including government agencies, auditors, and financial institutions. Qualifications and Skills: To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills: - Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field. - Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA is preferred. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial controller or similar role, preferably in a government agency or a company with government contracts. - Strong understanding of government accounting principles, laws, and regulations. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Advanced proficiency in both written and spoken Arabic and English. - Strong leadership and communication skills. - Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
