Financial Consultant for FQHC Reporting (UDS, Medicare Cost Report, HRSA Grants)

Budget $450 for entire support. 1 Month Remote Support, we will negotiate max hours) Description: I am hiring a healthcare finance consultant with experience in FQHCs (Federally Qualified Health Centers), CHCs, RHCs, or nonprofit healthcare organizations. I recently accepted a Director-level financial leadership role and need targeted guidance and hands-on support to understand and perform several technical reporting functions. Your role is to train me, review my work, and help build templates for recurring reports. Responsibilities: • Provide step-by-step guidance on preparing and submitting HRSA UDS financial reports (Uniform Data System). • Train me on Medicare Cost Report requirements for FQHCs (Forms CMS-224-14 and MSM Chapter 40). • Assist with HRSA, federal, and state grant financial reports, including allowable costs, budget vs. actual tracking, and documentation standards. • Help me design or improve financial dashboards, board reports, and monthly close packets for a community health center. • Review our chart of accounts and make recommendations to align with UDS and Medicare reporting categories. • Provide templates and walkthroughs for: – Productivity dashboards – Expense allocation methods – Patient revenue analysis – Operational KPI reporting • Coach me on best practices for supervising finance staff in a healthcare organization. • Meet weekly for live training calls and provide asynchronous support as needed. Required Experience: • Direct financial experience in FQHCs, CHCs, or RHCs • Hands-on experience submitting UDS and Medicare Cost Reports • Understanding of HRSA grant management and federal compliance (2 CFR 200) • Strong knowledge of nonprofit accounting (GAAP) • Ability to teach and create tools/templates • CPA, MPA, MHA, or significant FQHC experience strongly preferred Deliverables: • UDS Financial Reporting Guide customized for our clinic • Medicare Cost Report template + walkthrough • Grant reporting templates (HRSA, state, federal) • Monthly finance dashboard and board reporting templates • 90-day training plan for me to master these tasks Apply tot his job
