Financial and Investment Analyst
Position Title:Financial and Investment AnalystEducation and Experience requirements:Bachelor’s or higher degree in finance, mathematics, business, accounting, data analytics, or engineering; Minimum one year of experience working as an analyst at a venture capital firm or private equity firmDuties and Responsibilities:- Maintain, monitor, and update database of the company’s financial transaction records of the company and its subsidiaries and generate US GAAP-compliant quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements through the Oracle ERP system or through QuickBooksRelevant: Accounting, Auditing, Database, Systems Management, Programming, Technology- Use the data from the ERP system to design, develop, maintain, and update an interactive dashboard using Tableau to visualize key financial statement metrics for the CFO and executive team to track the performance and financial status of the company and its subsidiariesRelevant: Probability, Statistics, Accounting, Data Analytics, Visualization, Technology- Perform regular financial accounting analyses containing information including net value, cash flow, profitability, liquidity, leverage, and efficiency analysis of the company and its subsidiaries, and compare with previous periods and with similar companies in the industryRelevant: Probability, Statistics, Accounting, Data Analytics, Communication- Present predictive forecast reports based on quantitative analysis using time series analysis, cause-effect method, and other methods to predict sales and other key metrics to support data-driven decision making for financial planning and budgeting processesRelevant: Statistical Learning Models, Prediction Models, Data Analytics, Simulation, Optimization- Perform financial due diligence of investment opportunities through economic and market trends research, business evaluation, and support deal execution for minority growth equity investments, leveraged majority buyouts, and debt financing transactionsRelevant: Economics, Finance, Managerial Accounting, Business, Data Analytics- Develop investment scenarios based on quantitative financial models and valuation methods including the discounted cash flow method, income approach, valuation multiples, summarize and present investment analysis reports to senior team membersRelevant: Probability, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Financial Engineering, CommunicationJob posted May 10, 2023 Apply tot his job
