Financial Analyst, FP&A
Zelis is modernizing the healthcare financial experience across payers, providers, and healthcare consumers. The Financial Analyst, FP&A will provide financial input and support to the Claims Cost Solutions leadership team, focusing on budgeting, financial analysis, forecasting, and expense management.ResponsibilitiesDay-to-day business partner with the Accounting and Finance teams and other members across the organizationResponsible for critical deliverables including month-end reporting, quarterly forecasts, annual plan, annual 5-year strategic plan, ad-hoc requests and other financial activitiesDevelop financial models, capacity planning models, analyses, and related decks to support strategic initiativesAnalyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision-making purposesDevelop data-driven presentations and insightful business commentary with conclusions, reconciliations, and recommendations for the Executive Leadership Team and the Board on a monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc basisWork with large and complex datasets to analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), and business driversBoost the organization’s financial decision-making process through the analysis of financial results, forecasts, variances, and trendsDrive value within the business through margin enhancement, lowering costs and driving operational efficienciesInvolved in pricing of new deals and revenue analysis and creation of business cases to support commercial growthAssist with the integration of mergers and acquisitionsMature thinker with strong communication and presentation skills; experience interacting with colleagues in presenting ideas and opportunities supported by fact-based data and decisionsSkills1-2 years of progressive work experience in FP&A or related finance capacityBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or other quantitative field of study requiredStrong understanding of GAAP accounting and financial statementsExperience in managing SG&A expensesStrong proficiency in Microsoft OfficeStrong planning and organization skills, including ability to simultaneously handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentExperience in Workday ERP and Office Connect highly preferableBenefits401k plan with employer matchFlexible paid time offHolidaysParental leavesLife and disability insuranceHealth benefits including medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverageCompany OverviewZelis is modernizing the healthcare financial experience for all.
