Financial Analyst, Ads FP&A, Amazon Advertising Sales Finance
Amazon is seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join our Ad Sales FP&A team. In this role, you will partner closely with Product, Sales, and Business stakeholders to influence decision-making and support long-term planning in Amazon's advertising business. Responsibilities Employ strong communication and organizational skills to effectively prioritize and complete timely deliverables Conduct comprehensive financial analyses and strategic planning across advertising sales initiatives Analyze complex data sets in order to provide clear and simplified insights that influence real-time decision making Drive consolidation, standardization, and process improvement for global reporting mechanisms Skills Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) 1+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience 1+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting Experience in TM1, Data Warehouse and SQL Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MSAccess, Tableau, Essbase or Cognos) Experience operating successfully in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, with the ability to influence the decisions of business partners through effective verbal and written communication Experience using data to influence business decisions 1+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience Benefits Health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage) 401(k) matching Paid time off Parental leave Company Overview Amazon is a tech firm with a focus on e-commerce, cloud computing, digital streaming, and artificial intelligence.
